Your life doesn’t stop because you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer
You should never be alone on your journey to beating breast cancer.
I’ve stood in your shoes.
I was on top of the world, feeling young, fit, and full of life.
And then those dreadful words came.
“You have breast cancer.”
The word “cancer” adds a certain sluggishness to you.
You wonder how much time you have left.
Even if you turn out to have a pretty good prognosis, you still become incredibly aware — almost excessively aware — of time.
And you don’t want to waste one second of it.
The key to winning is to stay positive and motivated, and that can be challenging to do when you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating treatments, and your life is changing rapidly.
I’ve been there.
I wanted the support, but as mother to three boys, I was the one my family leaned on for support.
It was my turn… I needed somewhere to find all the information, because I just didn’t have the energy to focus on research and healthy actions to take while navigating radiation, chemo, and multiple surgeries.
I just wanted someone to have all the answers in one place — for someone to say “here you go, try this, do that.”
I wanted something that would guide me through the frightening new world of hospital appointments and fast paced choices.
But I didn’t find that.
Instead I read everything I could lay my hands on, from technical medical write-ups to the latest natural anti-cancer diets, and still… nothing could give me the bigger picture and help me find my way through the treatment process and navigate all the emotions that came with it.
This community is the one I went looking for when I first heard those words: “You have breast cancer.”
This is a community where you can thrive and receive trusted guidance to help you heal.
Hi, I'm Susie Evans
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I surfed the net for hours. I was feeling lost, alone, and extremely overwhelmed. I desperately yearned for a sense of comfort and connection as well as reliable sources of information. I felt as though I knew nothing about breast cancer (except for one month out of the entire year filled with pink ribbons and campaigns).
I didn't want anyone to go through breast cancer alone and isolated like I did during my journey. I had learned so much that I wanted to share it and create a safe and comforting place filled with inspiration and information.
I invite you to join our GLOBAL community and connect with others, so that nobody has to navigate this disease alone. Simply Susie strives to be a warm, authentic, global outreach creating friendships across the world while educating and inspiring. I am so glad that you found us! Welcome to this sanctuary of authenticity.
“So thankful to you for the support you have given to the friends I've asked you to help. My true inspiration and proud to call you friend x”

A doctor will provide medical guidance to you but can often leave out the day-to-day stories of real patients. This app is built by real cancer patients and gives you the clinical AND the real-life stories of people who’ve lived this journey.
You are able to control how much and to whom you share your diagnosis. This app is a safe community and we don't share others' stories without their permission. You can choose who, how, and when you want to interact, or simply consume the content privately. The support is there if and when you need it.
Simply Susie: The Breast Cancer Course goes much deeper into the breast cancer information you may want, from diagnosis to coping with emotions after your treatments and beyond. The course will take you step-by-step through the journey in a power-packed informational format. The course is expected to be available in late 2021.
“I’ve been struggling with the same and hating to mention it because I feel like I should just be grateful that I’m a survivor and be able to deal with what’s changed.”
Knowledge is power. Will you go through breast cancer confused and alone, or empowered and positive and supported?
